Rather than allowing a tough situation to completely derail their life, a mentally tough person has the ability to handle their problems in a smart, sound, and safe manner that helps them process what’s happening and then act accordingly.
Learning how to handle your life’s problems gracefully is a great way to be more mentally tough. However, saying this is often easier said than done. Setbacks and challenges cause major roadblocks in life, and those experiences can stir a lot of big emotions and secondary problems in their wake.
